Yoga poses that can bring you flatter abs

Flat belly is what everyone wants today. Getting it is not an easy task. If you are tired doing crunches and still not getting that perfect abs, you need to try few poses of yoga that will help you in achieving the abs you’ve always wanted. Yoga makes body flexible and busts stress.

Following is a list of few yoga poses for trim belly fat and flatter abs.

Straight leg lift yoga pose:

 Straight leg lift yoga pose

This is an easy pose that can put you well on the way towards flatter abs. The pose starts with lying on your back. Lift your legs straight up towards ceiling and place a pillow between your upper thighs. Keep your back firmly on the ground while doing this pose. Repeat pose 10-12 times.

Warrior III:

Another yoga pose to get flat abs. Maintain challenging balance that keeps abs engaged all the time first. Then put all your weight on right foot and straight your entire body parallel to floor. Take deep breath and stay in position for few seconds. Repeat the same on left foot.

Mermaid pose:

This pose starts with lying on your left. Raise hands stretched overhead together and rest head on left arm. Take deep breath and lift your hands and legs up as much you can. Hold pose for five breaths and then repeat on other side. The pose helps in stretching stomach, thus making your abs flat.

Knee to nose pose:

Start with downward facing dog. Move right leg up and try to touch knee with nose keeping other leg straight backwards. Pose helps in pressing stomach that leads to flatter abs and flat belly.

Lotus hip lift:

 Lotus hip lift yoga

This pose needs you to sit in full lotus position first. Keep your hands pressed into the floor outside your hips. Try to lift your body keeping pressure on arms and hands. If at first you are unable to lift body, keep pushing floor with hands to make them stronger. It will strengthen your arms and hands.

Forearm plank pose:

 Forearm plank pose

An easy pose to get flat abs and belly. Get down on your fours. Forearms parallel to one another and shoulder width apart. Back, heels and shoulders must be in on straight line. Stay in pose for few seconds and repeat.
