Downward-facing dog

Both your feet and hands on ground, knees hip-width apart, and place your hands about shoulder-width wide. Now press your hands against the floor, lift your knees off the floor, and straighten your legs. You can move your hands forward and your toes backward depending upon your body’s elasticity.

Do not put unnecessary strain. Press your heels up and down on the floor so that your legs get a good stretching. This pose is very effective in making your calves, hamstrings, deltoids, and triceps strong. This pose makes blood circulation good and is very effective for the upper body strengthening.

Warrior Pose

Stand with your feet around four feet apart, start with one-foot pointing towards front of the mat, and turn the other foot at 30-degree angle. Open your arms sideways at shoulder length with palms down, and bend your right knee in a way that your thigh and right shin form a 90-degree angle.

Inhale and hold on for some time and then exhale and repeat with the left side. It tones hips, thighs, arms, abdomen, and legs.

Tree Pose

Stand and then transfer your weight on your right leg, and fold the left leg and place its sole on the inner side of your right thigh. Now join your hands in front of your heart, inhale and raise your hands straight above your head. It is a perfect pose to relax your legs, spine, thighs, and arms.

Practicing yoga restores the lost balance of your body by strengthening weak muscles and gives you energy that enables you to accomplish all tasks.
