How Yoga can boost up your sex life

Yoga can boost up your sex life

Yoga has long been touted as the great equalizer to bring balance to our mental, physical and spiritual aspects of life. In essence, it is a collective form of ‘living’ that alleviates your psychological capacity, while also improving upon your physical capability. And, it is this combination of the last two factors that make up for your sexual prowess as well as satisfaction.

1. Greater muscle controls, where it matters!

Yes, it is true; Yoga does help in elevated muscle control in our lower body parts. This means that it is not only about the improved essence of fitness, but also about the control of the sexual sensation that these muscles come handy in. As a matter of fact, Yoga does contribute to the ‘root lock’ technique, where the woman has domination over her lower muscles to enhance sensations. Moreover, such muscular containment does prevent embarrassing situations such as light bladder leaks.

2. Greater concentration

Now, this may sound strange to some, but sex does require our full concentration to be enjoyed at its best. In fact, statistically, most love making sessions are botched by our stress oriented thinking, which distracts us from the ‘job’ at hand. However, Yoga does imbibe in us that sense of balance and concentration, which allows us to truly live in the moment.

3. Improved sync with your own body

An often overlooked factor, many sexual situations are quickly (and unfortunately) diffused because our poor perception of our self images. In this regard, Yoga does help in forming a sort of greater bond with our body, which is more on a spiritual rather than physical level. This strong harmony in turn results in better confidence in our abilities and our image, which ultimately results in enhanced sexual adeptness.

4. Enhanced relaxedness

As we mentioned earlier, mental situations like stress, anxiety and depression are naturally ‘anti libido agents’.  However, the correct Yoga poses can be your psychological savior, as they help you to relax more. Moreover, meditative Yoga has that transient healing power that many of its adherents would swear on.

5. Better body and habits

At the end of the day, we can’t deny that Yoga does tone up your muscles and make your body more flexible.  This doesn’t only make you look sexier, but also alters your lifestyle for the better. For example, it makes your eating habits healthier, and correspondingly also improves upon your metabolism rate. Moreover, now you have greater control (and harmony) with your body, and thus you have better experience to take care of it.
