1. Water

Drinking inadequate amounts of water can cause a lot of problems in the body. Dehydration is one of the most dangerous conditions that can lead to several disorders including kidney stones. When the body is dehydrated, the concentration of urine increases, thereby causing the danger of minerals getting crystallized, forming kidney stones. The juice of an onion can be extracted and drunk every day for melting the kidney stones and releasing them through the urine. Onion extract taken from a single onion can also be boiled along with 8 ounces of water for about 10 minutes, and taken twice daily for prevention and control of kidney stones.

Take two figs and boil them with one or two cups of water. Simmer for about 10 minutes and drink the juice when it is still warm. This can be done regularly in the morning, before eating food.

Radish can be added to your salads or you can drink radish juice two to three times a day to dilute the stones and avoid surgical intervention. Lady’s finger or okra juice can be prepared by keeping sliced pieces of lady’s finger (okra) in distilled water overnight. Drink this thrice daily after squeezing the lady’s finger pieces.

9. Dried nettle

Nettle tea can act as a diuretic and promote frequent urination, and thereby elimination of toxic substances and kidney stones naturally. Drink adequate water along with nettle tea and this will help in the proper elimination of toxic waste and maintain the electrolyte balance of urine. Nettle leaf can be dried and stored in airtight containers for the purpose. Take a tablespoon of nettle leaf and add it to a cup of boiling water. Drink this 2-3 times a day for prevention as well as elimination of stones.
