1. Coriander, radish and spinach juice

Juices made from coriander, radish or spinach are also equally helpful in treating appendix problems. These juices should be incorporated in one’s diet which will help to keep appendix problems at a distance.

2. Fenugreek seeds

Add one tablespoon of fenugreek seeds to a liter of cold water and let it boil. Next, strain the water. Now drink this concoction when it is neither too hot nor too cold. This will naturally help in curbing appendicitis.

3. Beetroot juice, carrot and cucumber

Pain in the appendix can be cured very easily with some natural juices readily available in the house. Cucumber, beetroot and carrot are the vegetables which are easily available in the market and they are usually kept at home, to make salads. 100 ml each of cucumber and beetroot juice can be mixed with 300 ml of carrot juice. This mixture can be consumed as a medicinal potion. This juice composition helps relieve appendix pain.

4. Green grams

Green grams also help in treating appendicitis naturally. Having one tablespoon of green grams two times or three times a day will prove to be beneficial.

5. Basil leaves

If someone is suffering from appendicitis and also from bouts of fever, basil leaves will be highly effective in giving relief to the person. Take some basil leaves and keep them in boiling water for around five minutes. Leave it to stand for some more minutes. Then strain it and the concoction is ready.

6. Buttermilk

This is also another effective home remedy. Buttermilk has a soothing effect on the gut and keeps pain and discomfort at bay. It also helps in preventing gastric problems and allays vomiting. People with appendicitis can have up to one liter of buttermilk every day. Since it is available at departmental stores, it is one of the remedies one should keep in mind while traveling.

7. Ginger

It is one of the most common home remedies in the treatment of appendicitis. Gingerols, which is an anti-inflammatory agent, is found in huge amounts in ginger. Therefore, ginger eases the inflammations caused by the appendix, reduces the intolerable pain, and helps to prevent vomiting and nausea. Ginger tea is easy to make. About an inch of ginger root and a glass of water should be boiled for fifteen minutes to prepare the concoction. This tea can be consumed by people suffering from appendicitis thrice daily. Another remedy is to add a pinch of rock salt to a table spoon amount of ginger juice and drinking it. If you are traveling, you can cut slices of raw ginger and then store in a bottle with rock salt, and have it whenever you feel nausea or vomiting during traveling. A mixture of ginger and turmeric can also be taken to ease one of the appendix problems. It can be either taken in their raw forms or can be taken in their powdered form. This mixture helps in reducing pain and swelling. It is also easy to carry some pieces of ginger and turmeric in a bottle or their powdered forms in a bottle. One can consume it at their own disposal.
