This is actually a smart and compelling outdoor advertisement launched by WWF China to create awareness regarding the increasing pollution and to urge people to drive their vehicle a day less to contribute to prevent spreading pollution. The campaign was very simple and highly effective, a balloon was tied to a car that gave impression that the balloon was swollen up by smoke released by the car. This outdoor campaign has received considerable coverage from Chinese newspapers and TV channels.

Following a robust growth and coupled with increased number of vehicles and due to industrial production pollution in china is really growing at a rapid speed and it now threatens cities to turn them really black. A message was written on the balloon that reads, ‘Drive one day less and look how much carbon monoxide you’ll keep out of the air we breathe’. The campaign is credited to Ogilvy, Beijing.
