Bridgestone had launched this print advertisement campaign to promote its premium tyres. The campaign aimed at comparing the quality of the tyre with precious stones or jewels. The advertisements are showing that the tyres are being treated as jewelry by showing them being handled with great care as in case of precious products. One of the advertisements is showing tyres are being packed and transported directly from a mine in order to relate the preciousness of the product with valuable stones. However, it seems a bit more exaggerated that it actually needed. The other advertisement is showing that tyres, packed in jewelry boxes, are being stored carefully that gives impression that how precious and special these tyres are.

The presentation of the campaign at one hand appears to be considerably good but the basic idea seems to be exaggerated slightly out of proportion. A few eyebrows were being raised over the execution of the advertisement featuring mines, as mines do not usually produce ready to use products. Moreover, the product benefit is struggling to be outlined effectively in the campaign. The punch line of the campaign reads, ‘Premium tyres’. The campaign was created by Dentsu, Brussels, Belgium.
