Yoga Poses to look great when you bare it all

Yoga Poses to look great

More often than not, we see people who are never too sure about their body structure. Bulging bellies, drooping shoulders and deformed spines reveal how they ignore yoga and its associated benefits. So, quite obviously, looking good naked is something too much to expect from them. However, if they practice yoga on a daily basis, they can realize how it does wonders to their overall appearance. Here are a few yoga poses that could help them stay in shape and dare to bare it all when such a situation arises:

Quarter Dog Pose

If you wish to strengthen your arms, upper back and shoulder, you should go for the Quarter Dog Pose – a different version of Downward Facing Dog pose. While doing this yoga exercise, make sure that your forearms touch the ground and create a straight line with your middle fingers. Another thing that you need to be sure about is your heel’s position. Keep your heels slightly wider than your toes’ position. As you relax your head between your arms, try to focus on your belly button.

Crow Pose

Those who crave for a smooth belly and upper body should definitely try practicing the Crow pose. First, spread your palms and place them on the yoga mat. Now try to place your knees onto your triceps and slowly move them toward your armpit. Next, shift your body weight to your hands while lifting your feet off the ground. It’s so very important to balance your body on your palms. Though a bit difficult this pose may seem to be, however, with regular practice, you can master it.

Extended Standing Straddle

Highly effective in adding grace to your belly and legs, the Extended Standing Straddle requires a definite focus on your breathing pattern. Starting from Goddess Pose, the practitioner should straighten his legs and bring feel parallel to each other. While extending your arms above your head, inhale so that your lungs should get enough air. Now bring your upper body parallel to the floor while exhaling. Next, squeeze your belly in and try to balance your body on your toes.
