Being an easy inversion pose, it doesn’t need much effort on the part of a yogi. The asana helps in curing sleeping disorders and insomnia. For doing this pose, what you need to do first is unfold a blanket or rug and spread it on the floor near the wall. Lie on the floor and position your body in such a way that there is no room for stretching your legs and you have to raise your legs along the wall as well. You can also stretch your arms above your head parallel. Count ten and take deep breath.

  • Balasana

The Balasana or the Child’s Pose is also a very relaxing Yoga pose. To perform this pose, you have to kneel down and keep a slight gap between your feet. Then you will have to bend forward so that your hip is placed on your ankles and your belly is between your thighs. Stay in this pose and count slowly until 30. You can either stretch your hands in front of your body or fold them by the sides of your body. This Yoga is known for reenergizing your body and spirit.

For practicing this Yoga pose, you first need to stretch your legs up the wall and then bend your knees. You have to hold your feet while your knees touch the sides of your chest. Take deep and relaxing breathes in and do not stretch unnecessarily.
