Snickers: The same sensation but in mini

This is an interesting award winning print advertisement campaign launched by Snickers to promote its mini sized chocolates. The campaign aims at emphasizing that the product is now available in mini size but the sensation remains the same as that of normal size. The advertisement is amusingly showing a man climbing a small rock depicting the mini size of the product while conveying that the trekker was having the same sensation and excitement here as he could have experienced in climbing huge rocks. Moreover, the product benefit has been interestingly displayed in the advertisement.

The presentation of the advertisement is unquestionably expressive and extremely entertaining, which effectively communicates the message. The photography has done an excellent job in the advertisement as it has helped the advertisement to visually elucidate the basic idea. The advertisement was held winner in Cannes Lions 2007 in outdoor category. The punch line of the advertisement reads, ‘the same sensation but in mini’. The campaign was created by TIEMPO BBDO, Madrid, Spain.
