Public awareness advertisement campaign for environment conservation does not always need to be hard-hitting to communicate a strong message. And this print advertisement belongs to the genre, which uses a very light approach to convey its message effectively. Oman Economic Review using a similar method rolled out an extremely simple and straightforward environment conservation advertisement. The advertisement is showing a green marker pen drawing trees and those trees are being erased using a correction pen. In addition, only a few trees are left green while most of the trees have already been already erased from the paper in order to depict how fast trees are getting depleted from the planet.
Conveying a very serious message through effective and simple visuals, the advertisement adds a little punch using an informative copy, which makes it more insightful and thought provoking.
