If you think that doing something (or nothing) on a blank paper is creativity, you may not be always right. But, we do like to see something which is clear, beautiful, though not so fresh. In advertising, almost all ideas are stolen in one way or another way, at least in a subconscious or unconscious way. (Or inspired by.) When we see something which is original we call it original and we call the man behind the work a genius.
This print ad for Clal insurance, developed by Gitam BBDO, Tel Aviv, cant be described as a sparklingly fresh concept. A blank paper and creativity, its not so fresh. But I would like to love this ad. Mainly because of its clarity of communication. There is also a certain kind of beauty in it.
