This is the latest television advertisement launched by Citroen to promote its C3 model in a peculiar way. The basic aim of the advertisement is to convey that the product has been especially designed to bring happiness while displaying playful activities of the car probably to depict greater maneuverability. Interestingly, the advertisement is showing that the C3 is being driven by dolphins in the sea. The 30-second long spot is showing dolphins playfully ‘driving’ Citroen’s C3 supermini under water on the soundtrack of Beyond the Sea.

The advertisement has used CGI technology to display the cars mimic dolphin-like behavior as they ride waves, leap through the air, splash around and dart underwater.

The advertisement has followed the strategy that held, with its curvy design, the Citroen C3 has a friendly, happy personality, and the ad was made to express this idea of pleasure by using dolphins, known for their liveliness. The tag line of the advertisement reads, ‘Just imagine what Citroen can do for you’. The advertisement was developed by Euro RSCG.
