This is an excellent print advertisement campaign launched by ABP Group to popularize North American Bengali Conference, which was scheduled to be held in Detroit. The advertisement campaign aims at persuading its target audience to attend the conference while smartly focusing on the Bengali culture, art and music. The advertisements are showing Bengalis, carrying the Bengali culture and tradition in a foreign land, coming to attend the conference. Advertisers decided to use different sketches in order to highlight Bengali traditional painting, which seems to be influenced by ‘Shantiniketan’ art.

The presentation of the campaign is no doubt very impressive and expressive at the same time keeping in mind the Bengali culture and its symbols. The art direction and the illustration both are simply fabulous in the campaign. However, on technical ground question was raised that why steering wheels were on the right side, while in the US, it remains on the left side. But the campaign is greatly influenced by the local culture of India thereby it is showing what usually prevalent there. The campaign was created by Bates David Enterprise, Kolkata, India.
