Volkswagen has recently launched this amusing print advertisement campaign to promote spacious vans. The campaign apparently lays focus on the utility aspect and how spacious Volkswagen vans are that accommodate so many things. The campaign has also represented a very good exaggeration of the basic idea. Interestingly, the advertisements are showing Eiffel Tower and Statue of Liberty are being loaded into Volkswagen vans. Moreover, just to signify what it can adjust the ads are showing just the upper part of these historical monuments.
The campaign, launched in Brazil, has smartly exaggerated the idea to lay emphasis on the product benefit which is evidently clear. Ay first glance for some onlookers it may give impression that the idea has been exaggerated out of proportion but it was actually to help the campaign to be humorous. Despite of the fact the idea of the campaign was not fresh or great but its execution has certainly made it a smart campaign. The campaign was created by Almap BBDO, Sao Paulo.
