Never ignore an animal in distress. If you ever happen to see a dog or cat in a dangerous situation, save it, rush it to hospital, then âadoptâ it, give it a name and âannounceâ it.
Who knows? It will be paying, rewarding act of kindness.
Sometimes this world becomes so insensitive and callous that a bleeding man hit by a crazy vehicle is left to his fate on the road, helped by none. In a world where such shocking incidents sporadically happen, it is surprising when somebody saves at least an animal from the neglected paths of the abandoned streets.
Because, PETA is there, at least for the animals.
Remember zarine khan, the bollywood actress who rescued a malnourished cat from the street of Mumbai. She brought it to the veterinary hospital. She even adopted it and called her âSoftyâ
PETA gives her ââHero to Animalsâ award, considering this kind action.
Now its Trishaâs turn. (For those who do not know who she is. She is a kollywood actress. âUniquely beautifulâ- I find this adjective to address her).
Get know the incident in her own words- A few years ago, when I was shooting for a Telugu film in Hyderabad, I was driving back to the hotel late in the evening when I spotted a stray dog that was left to die on the roads. Itâs possible that some vehicle hit it. My heart was bleeding at the sight of the poor dog, so I immediately stopped the car and I rushed him to Blue Cross where he was administered first aid. I couldnât get this dog out of my mind, so I brought him with me to Chennai later and named him Cadbury.
So, PETA officials heard about it and approached her.
The animal rights group has signed up her as their latest ambassador. The actress has been chosen as the Goodwill Ambassador for the Angel for Animals campaign.
So, listen please, celebrities. Save a dog or a cat. Never forget to announce it.
