For the month long world cup schedule the premium ready-to-drink brand WKD will break its new advertising campaign on June 1. The new campaign will retain its five-year-old punch line, ‘Have you got a WKD side.’ The campaign targets men of 18-25 years. It is believed that 19 million men will watch the ad on television during world cup.
The marketing director of the brand, Karen Salters, says the ads are more about how WKD drinkers take on life and he hopes these funny ads will make an impact on the WKD drinkers.
