Volkswagen: The end is near

Volkswagen has recently launched this television advertisement campaign during superbowl. The campaign clearly aims at focusing on affordable prices for its cars. In addition to it GM has outlined its latest interesting and unique approach to sell cars as the campaign outlines that even if a life is nearing its end this car enthuse a fresh life.

However, one of the advertisements has created furor in the media. The advertisement was showing a man who was about to commit suicide but changes his plans after hearing that VW car’s are available at affordable rates. VW had eventually pulled off that controversial advertisement. However, the other two ads were only indicative in nature and not that explicit and made a close save from controversy. The campaign was created by Crispin Porter and Bogusky.
