Having another year of solid growth, the U.S. online advertising market seems to recovering well from the difficult years that followed the dot-com bust, when spending money for online marketing was to a great extent discredited.

In its report the IAB has outlined that revenues of last quarter of 2006 totaled just under $4.8 billion, the amount however marked it as the highest quarter ever reported. Fourth-quarter revenues for 2006 constitute 32 percent increase over the same period in 2005, and a 15 percent increase over third quarter of 2006, expected at slightly under $4.2 billion.
