What is truth? Can truth be created? Will lies repeatedly presented as truths eventually accepted as truth? Is there a strong connection between advertisements and lies? In other words, is advertising founded on a pile of glorified lies?
Such questions arise when we see this print campaign for propaganda & marketing newspaper. The campaign, developed by age comunicações São Paulo, brilliantly exposes truth about some lies in the history. It shows how a war which lasted for 116 years became known as 100 yearâs war. It shows how Vikings were thought to be wearing helmets though actually it was not so. It also says about the popular âmisconceptionâ about the Sherlock Holmes words- elementary, my dear Watson.
