Trojan Condoms has recently launched an interesting and aggressive television advertisement in the US to promote its product. The advertisement is showing a bar full of women and pigs. As it proceeds further, it shows a pig going in the men’s bathroom and comes across a Trojan condom dispenser. As the pig walks back into the bar it transforms into an attractive human male. After arriving back into the bar, he straightaway attracts the attention of the woman who had earlier been bothered by his advances.
As a matter of fact, the transformation is depicting a wake up call to change attitudes about using condoms. The presentation of the campaign is extremely simple and straight and communicates its basic idea effectively. The advertisement has been consistent throughout to the core idea leaving behind no ambiguity. The idea was to show the fact that a change in behavior means a change in attitude. The Evolve advertising campaign was developed by the Kaplan Thaler Group, New York. Interestingly, the campaign was rejected by Fox and CBS.
