We have been told to kick the butt of recession by spending more. Well, that coin has two sides. This ambient campaign from Active Watch is aimed at people who go on unbridles shopping spree.
This anti-consumerism campaign gives a message that this buying frenzy ultimately leads to the degradation of our environment. So Grey Bucharest created some anti-consumerism wallets to distribute in front of malls and super markets.
Each wallet consists of a print with a nature scenery and a button depicting an animal. When someone opens their wallet the animal is symbolically presented as deprived of its natural environment and left to die.
The more you buy, the more they die- the message says.
