Jordon’s Queen Rania al Baz drives an anti domestic violence campaign in Jordon that aims to find ways to reduce violence and child abuse within the family. Muslimwomen blog reported earlier that this stylish queen was in news last year following a severe battering she received from her husband (photo above).
Queen Rania was recently awarded as an honorary citizen by the Italian City of Milan for her contribution in promotion of world peace and human rights.
This photo really disturbs me to the core. Why does so much of violence against women? Why so much of abuse? Is there no end to it? What is an abuse anyway. Its not a single slap or curse or a hit. It’s a campaign. An effort to accomplish a purpose. To set an agenda, however micro minuscule the milieu is.
Hope Queen Rania will be able to pursue her campaign with the help of government members, experts and other social organization of Jordon.
