‘Provocative’ PETA ad rejected by Southwest

Southwest Airlines’ in-flight magazine ‘Spirit’ has rejected a new PETA ad, saying that it is too provocative to run in its publication.

The ad, which promotes vegetarianism, features the image of a security-scan of a woman in her underwear. The undergarments reflect the copy- Be Proud of Your Body Scan: Go Vegan.

Well, considering the previous advertising stunts from PETA, this print ad comes nowhere near them in stupidity or recklessness. On the other hand, I feel that this ad is justifiably conveys the message, albeit clad in a bit nakedness.
