At last, a spark of sensible or serious thought from PETA. It has penned a letter to Pope Benedict XVI, urging his holiness to go vegan and serve only vegetable meals at the Vatican.
This comes close on the heels of the Popeâs statement connecting world peace with preserving the environment. PETA, while appreciating the Popeâs interests to protect the environment, says in the letter that the best way of protecting the environment is by discarding Non-vegetarian food.
