Octaedro had launched this print advertisement campaign to promote its fourth short film festival to be held in July this year. The campaign aims at focusing at humorously promoting the festival while emphasizing at the concept of ‘short film’. The campaign is featuring models personating two famous stalwarts of Hollywood movies Marilyn Munroe and Charlie Chaplin, though in dwarfed size, in order to lay focus on ‘short film’. The campaign aims at assimilating its core concept of short film with humor along with a touch of Hollywood legends to draw attention of people. The advertisement also urges to access the website especially launched for the festival.

The presentation of the campaign is undoubtedly interesting but to some extent it would be a bit difficult to ascertain the effectiveness of the presentation. The idea of the campaign is of course well outlines but the appearance of the models personating high profile actors could have been made a bit more interesting. The copy of the advertisement reads, ‘4th Short Film Festival.’ The campaign was developed by Norlop JWT, Quito, Ecuador.
