Microsoft, one foot in software and desperate one in advertising

Following Goolge’s path Microsoft also wants big bucks from advertising. Chris Dobson, vice-president of sales and marketing at MSN’s international division feels here lays the biggest growth scope for the software giant. Mr. Gates it seems now more than Windows is much more excited about the vision called, advertising. Analysts predict for the research and development purpose Microsoft will spend more than $2 billion than the earlier estimate.

In Windows Live where Microsoft along with MSN will also offer online Office desktop software to its users. MS intends to pitch in advertisements into this free online word doc software.

Then there is MSN adsense, this one will try to bring in dollars through much like Google search engine adsense model.
