This outdoor campaign was launched McDonalds to announce the arrival of a new product, Cold Coffee. The campaign apparently pointing towards making people aware of the new product so that once it arrives in the shop, it starts selling as if it were a decade old famous product. For this purpose many frozen ice blocks with blue coffee tumbler, trapped inside the ice, were placed strategically at various public places.
The campaign might have appealed to a large chunk of masses as it is quite interesting way to announce that product having close association with ice is arriving. Though the campaign effortlessly highlighted the product benefit but the campaign quite restricted to address a larger section of people. The ice blocks also contain a card with a message that says, ‘the cold is coming’. The campaign was designed by BBD.
