Marriages are made in heaven. However we have also seen that marriages can be made on TV too and one more thing- more marriages are being made by behest of matrimonial sites in India. The recent Nielson survey sheds light on the relevance of matrimonial sites in India.
The survey finds out that Personal or Matrimonial websites top the online display ad campaigns in India between June-August 2009. Among the 3,778 online display ad campaigns released in India between June-August 2009, 497 were by Personal or Matrimonial websites. It makes 13 per cent of the total number of online campaigns.
Travel booking services and the education sector are the next sectors in this list.
