Mariestad Beer: The proof of satisfaction

Mariestad Beer has recently launched this advertisement campaign to promote its beer in Swedish market. The campaign focuses on its years-old legacy of providing satisfaction to its consumers and then boasting that the beer is still on its mission to give contentment to its customers. The advertisement has used though out white sign on the upper lips in order to show consumption of the beer by the subject and it wraps its entire history since the company was found and its relentless commitment to provide satisfaction. The advertisement has shown a span of almost 150 years as the company was founded in 1848.

The presentation of the campaign is quite slow moving and holds some trace of seriousness throughout in the advertisement. Therefore the advertisement has taken a break from the latest trend of beer ads using light and humorous touch. Moreover, the advertisement seems to be bit closer to advertisements of hard liquor. The tag line of the advertisement reads, ‘The proof of satisfaction’.
