Mariah won three awards in the Grammy but that’s not quite unusual from someone like Mariah, in stead it’s the Intel’s not so innocent “Entertainment in your lap” which grabbed all the eye balls and attention. The fluky guy (hero of the commercial) was actually shown trying to make a play list on his laptop for who else..his girlfriend…lucky he.
The promotion other than television will also run on print, outdoor and websites. Earlier celebrities like Tony Hawk, Lucy Liu, Seal and John Cleese were featured in the campaign.
The spot showed Mariah sitting on the lap of a man who is working on his laptop.
After appearing on his lap, she asks: “Making a playlist for your girl?”
He explains he’s making a list of his favourite songs, before Mariah launches into her song Mine Again from her Grammy-nominated album The Emancipation of Mimi.
