Lee Iacocca, former chairman of Chrysler Corp. has recently decided to make pitch for the Republican candidate Dick Devos. The ad has shown Iacocca is talking to the camera and praising Devos as the responsible manufacturer of Michigan who kept his company running in a time when others were leaving the state.
While eulogizing Devos, Iacocca explained that he makes products that Michigan now exports to all over the world. He went on to say that Devos also makes one most important thing, Michigan jobs.
The most important aspect of the ad id is that it is a direct response to a Democratic ad that had alleged Devos had laid off 1,400 jobs in Michigan and at the same time he had invested $200 million in China.
