Irn-Bru in its brand positioning efforts launched this television advertisement campaign to establish itself as a refreshing summer drink. The latest spot has been titled; ‘Goth Holiday’, which is featuring a group of teenage Goths. The campaign aims at establishing its brand new image including brand’s refreshed design in order to cut a major market share for itself. The advertisement is showing the group languishing around in the outer reaches before being enthused to take an excursion to Blackpool on a summer’s day following some Irn-Bru refreshment.
The ad also shows the Goths riding donkeys on the beach, and visiting the branded Irn-Bru Revolution roller-coaster. There campaign was also launched with a view to uncover a more contemporary look for its packaging. The punch line of the ad says, ‘Feel phenomenal’. The campaign has been developed by the Leith Agency.
