People in India enjoy advertising more than those in other countries do. And, it is official. A recent online global survey on Trust in Advertising reveals that people in India favors advertising comparing to other nations.
The survey, commissioned by The World Federation of Advertisers and conducted by AC Nielsen, reveals that more Indians believe that advertising is useful and productive. The survey, which was conducted among people across 50 countries, finds out that comparing to respondents in other countries; more people in India trust advertising. While 86 per cent of Indians feel that advertising helps them make a more informed decision, only 67 per cent of global consumers feel so.
This is indeed news for global brands to understand the effective potential of advertising in India, a country with the second highest population.
