Use of social networking sites and internet icons is not a new practice in advertising. Yet, advertisers often make experiments with this approach as that will give them a (fake) feeling of out-of-the-box idea or modern-day ambience. Whatever the case, this campaign for Colgate total toothpaste too falls to this alluringly inviting creative trap. ( I said t r a p).
The ads in the casmpaign feature pages from Facebook, Gmail, and Skype and the copy reads- Improve your profile.
Well, even while clean tooth will have an undeniably big effect on your social relationships, these ads do not provide us with much stuff of appreciable caliber. Some advertising approaches need an urgent bath and mouthwash.
