Hyundai Motor America plans to unveil a series of new interactive TV commercials in local cable markets. At first it will concentrate on Phoenix dealership area and Albany, New York. The interactive that the ad is in nature, by using the TV remote the viewers can get data on the vehicle and also can plan the test drive. The auto major last summer has done a pre-test on the area.
Mary Barnas, executive vice president of Carat, Hyundai’s media agency said, “Car dealers are local broadcast advertisers. We need to find some innovative ideas for them that go beyond their regular spots.”
Hyundai’s Asia sales roared this February helped by higher demands at home and in Europe and U.S.
