Premier pay-TV launched this poster advertisement campaign in Germany to promote its pay movie channel. The campaign in fact focuses at conveying that it’s not only movie theaters that features latest and blockbuster movies, but it will now appear on this channel as well. To communicate this idea in an effective manner existing posters and banners of famous Hollywood movies but it also carried the advertisement of the channel.
The campaign has used posters of latest movies placed already on advertising columns and an additional stripe pasted over them that carried message, ‘coming soon on Premier’. The firm later on claimed that during the campaign their subscription rate was shot up to 9 percent if compared with earlier campaigns. The campaign was created by DDB, Dusseldorf, Germany.
