Heineken International has recently launched ‘continental shift’, advertising campaign in order to begin count down to the first match of Rugby World Cup to be held in Paris on 7th September. The campaign aims at displaying the Herculean efforts taken by Heineken and rugby fan to shift continents closer to Paris. The advertisement seems to be aiming at highlighting the spirit of the rugby fans and brand’s close association with it. The advertisement is showing people are pushing mountains and continents to bring them closer to the venue of the Rugby World Cup 2007.

The presentation of the campaign is no doubt impressive as Heineken once again created it on large canvas. The commercial was shot a number of locations around the world. The firm wanted to show the epic nature of this world-class event and our world-class beer. The theme of the campaign is, ‘One World, One Cup, One Beer’. The campaign was created by Bates, Singapore.
