Hed Salon had taken considerably risk to launch this print and billboard advertisement campaign, which is religiously very sensitive and could attract criticism. The campaign has shown Jesus, Mary and Joseph with latest hairstyles in place of ancient ones. However, the campaign seems to be more tilted or intended towards creating some kind of controversy to receive mass focus and media attention. A closer look reveals that the campaign has been less emphasized on the product benefit and marketing strategy seems to be inclined towards sensationalizing the entire affair. However, according to reports, people are coming into this salon and are asking for Jesus or Mary cut.

The presentation of the campaign is visually very simple but linking hair cut with divinity seems to be a bit awkward in the advertisements. Many advertisement campaigns have been created using these divine characters and often landed in controversies too, but most of them were created in a way that somewhat held relevance with the product. However, in this campaign the basic idea does not seem to be coherent with the product. The punch line of the campaign reads, ‘May Your Will Be Done’.
