As more and more consumers are purchasing GPS device, (sale of unit volume has jumped by 152%) marketers have sniffed another opportunity to pass their message to consumers. Dunkin’ Donuts has been informing drivers about the nearest locations and throwing special promotional deals in between.

For example, Dunkin’ Donuts has struck a deal with GPS manufacturer Tom Tom, whereas the users can download the logo of the brand so to identify the nearest store while on move.
