Google is most likely to start buying advertisements in almost 50 daily newspapers this week through its website. Google was experimenting with this concept of brokering advertising in offline media since long and finally rolling out for a three-month practical experiment. However, this move is most likely to lease a new life to advertisement spending in print media.
The new advertising system of Google will enable advertisers to witness what ad sizes section and days a particular newspaper is offering and then bid for the best suited option available for them. Advertisers will be required to submit ads digitally, which linked with the Google’s web based interface for Internet ads and would receive confirmation online if the ads were run.
On the other side, publishers can view those bids online and select them according to their requirements.
