A recent research study has found out that majority of gamers actually don’t mind in-game ads. In addition, the research findings have figures to prove it. I am not going deep into the numbers,but a vast majority of hardcore gamers (those who play more than 16 hours a day) have said that in-game advertising would not impact their likelihood of playing their favorite game.
