This is something which is called âcorporate social responsibilityâ (corporate what?). well, at least, SABMiller India (Fosterâs distributor) thinks so. Worried by the âdrink and driveâ habits of the people, these responsible guys decided to do something.
The company distributed some magnetic coasters to more than 40 bars and restaurants in Indian cities with their Fosterâs rounds. When one tries to place his/her mug (which had an opposite-polarity magnet in the base) on the sports car coaster, it slides away. After sometime the person can notice âDrinking & driving donât mixâ message on the mug.
This interesting corporate social responsibility move was a Cannes Bronze Lion winner.
