Why small time (and unbranded) podcasters are uncomfortable about Disney’s foray into podcasting? Because, parents will believe in the value of the brand and will allow kids to listen to it, and advertisers on the other hand will not only leverage Disney’s multi media possibilities but also know its capability to reach a wide array of audience.

This new move from Radio Disney, some podcasters may believe, will bring in a new reasoning in the field of podacsting. Since its launch in last August Radio Disney Now podcast on iTunes has become numero uno choice for tech savvy kids. Radio Disney inspired with the success plans to offer free and ad supported podcasts that will target 6-14 year tiny tots.

From next June Radio Disney intends to include ads on its weekly podcasts and it already has bagged video game maker THQ as its first client for full one month contract.
