Ads that intends to promote print/visual media often appears to be intelligently superior and clever. Indeed, some of those ads consist of tall claims and insincere promises. Some of them, though rightly states the greatness of journalistic values, fails to make the actual impact that they intend to make on the target audience.
However, this print campaign for Metro Newspaper, developed by Miami Ad School, Madrid, slightly takes a deviation from the usual path. Indeed, it is not exactly an admirably clever deviation, but it is indeed hilarious.
The ads feature situations where you should know what is happening around you. One example is that of the lovers who meet secretly unaware of the stormy weather(that they should have read from the news paper)
One notable aspect with this campaign is that, unlike most of the media ads, it concentrates on simple and basic claims.
