chicken littleWith purchase of Happy Meal and Mighty Kids, every McDonald guest will receive characters from the film ‘Chicken Little.’ In a true creative promotional and advertising campaign Walt Disney it seems want to cash on the primary hype and hopefully move ahead with the delivering of total branding experience to its loyal and new customers. The campaign lasts till Nov 28.
Now merchandising, be it in line with characters of the film or not becomes an essential part of film experience. And If I recollect correctly its Walt Disney who starts of with the genre in this segment with Micky Mouse, US nation’s original dear darling.
An estimate tells us that a successful Hollywood movie can fetch up to $120 million from the Box office and can generate approx $50-$200 million through strong merchandising.
In McDonald, the add on for the Chicken Little lovers will be bonus food and flavor choices with Happy Meals and Mighty Kids.
