Cameron Diaz and Brad Pitt have recently appeared in an integrated advertising campaign for Tokyo-based telecommunications giant SoftBank Mobile Corp. The company has reportedly roped the duo for its campaign in last October. This time around Japanese companies are in race to hire Hollywood stars for their advertising campaigns as they think that this strategy is paying them well to attract people.
SoftBank preferred to remain shut on the financial arrangements of the deal as their agreement prohibits them to disclose to discuss the stars’ Japan advertisements with U.S. media. However, Washingtonpost hinted that the duo was paid more than $1.7 million each, which experts believe highest ever price for a Japanese commercial.
In one of the spots, Diaz has been shown strutting to the tune ‘Walk this way’ of Aerosmith while the spot in which Brad Pitt appears was reportedly shot in India.
