Cadbury withdraws TV ad from coronation Street

According to reports, Cadbury Schweppes has pulled out its television advertisements from the famous U.K. soap opera Coronation Street. Further, it has recalled one million chocolate bars as well, amidst the news of probability of salmonella, which causes food borne diseases.

Though the ITV has confirmed the news but said it is just a precautionary measure and temporary action and has no financial implication. Cadbury’s sponsorship deal has entered in its tenth year and it is worth around GBP 10 million a year.
