BlogHer in an innovative move has launched a blog advertising service in for parenting bloggers in May this year. BlogHer community is restrictively committed to promote and expand the opportunities for female bloggers. Bowing to the demand, BlogHer has officially started graphic and contextual blog ad network. BlogHer Ads will appear on blogs of all subjects. The community, BlogHer, will mediate and manage all the technological aspects and the relation ship with advertisers.
The blog publishers will only required integrating BlogHer ad units to their sites. The newly launched system is also likely to promote participation of blogs as the system will add related links after each ad banner ad. The blog network charges advertisers rates on par with national content sites such as iVillage and other blogs with heavy traffic.
