The BBC has recently displeased its rival CNN as it used the CNN’s strapline, ‘Be the First to Know’ for its own campaign for new Arabic e-newsletter. The latest ad for Arabic e-newsletter has been produced by a Jordanian agency Mint and the ad is in Arabic having the CNN’s strapline at the end.

The latest advertising campaign aims to reach almost 19 million online users. Along with ad, there are appearances of other pan-Arabic websites such as MSN Arabia – Hotmail and Messenger, Yahoo, and Ebay.
